At Disabled Comics, our mission is to spotlight diverse characters and authentic stories that reflect the real experiences of people with disabilities—while introducing bold new superheroes to the mix. Every comic and graphic novel we create is designed to break barriers and challenge norms in the comic book industry. As a full-time wheelchair user, I founded Disabled Comics to explore the limitless possibilities of the medium and give disabled comic lovers—young and young at heart—the chance to see themselves as heroes on the page.
